Scripture: Matthew 11:28 – “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Mental health has been a front-page conversation recently. Reports show that anxiety, depression, and burnout are on the rise—especially among young people. The world tells us to push harder, hustle longer, and do more. But Jesus offers a different invitation: Come to Me. Rest in Me.
When Jesus spoke these words, He was inviting people out of a religion of endless rules and into a relationship of grace. Today, He invites us out of endless scrolling, stressing, and striving—and into His rest.
Maybe you’ve been watching the headlines and feeling overwhelmed. Maybe you’ve been carrying burdens at home or at work. Jesus says: “Lay them down. Come to Me.”
Action Step: Take ten minutes this week to unplug, open God’s Word, and simply sit with Him. Let His rest refresh your weary soul.
